On 24 and 25 November 2025, the world of education will gather at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha for the twelfth edition of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), this year’s theme being ‘Humanity.io: human values at the heart of education’.
Among the speakers expected to attend is Dr Debora Kayembe: international human rights activist, founder of the humanitarian organisation Full Options Global SCIO and former Principal of the University of Edinburgh. Her constant commitment to justice, inclusion and human dignity makes her one of the few voices chosen to address these educational issues at the Wise Summit 2025.
The theme ‘Humanity.io’ symbolises the bridge between technology and humanity: ‘.io’ evokes digital connection, while ‘Humanity’ reminds us that progress only has meaning if it remains deeply rooted in human values.
Thus, #WISE12 promises to be a space for reflection and action where education is redefined as a factor for social and human transformation. The presence of Dr Debora Kayembe will undoubtedly contribute to this event, which will bring together leaders from around the world to address issues related to the future of education in the service of humanity in the age of the internet and artificial intelligence.
